Lukoil signs deal on seismic exploration on Iraqi fields

MOSCOW, Dec 13 (PRIME) -- Russian oil major Lukoil has signed a contract with Iraq’s Oil Exploration Company on seismic exploration works at the Eridu field and Block 10, the company said in a press release Wednesday.

“Seismic exploration works will be held both on the territory of an earlier discovered Eridu field and the southern and central parts of Block 10 that were not previously covered by seismic exploration,” the statement said.

Lukoil holds 60% in the Block 10 project.
